Sparks is a town in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 169 at the 2010 census, a 23.4 percent gain from the figure of 137 in 2000. The center of population of Oklahoma is located in Sparks [1]. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), of which 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) is land and 2.50% is water. == Demographics == As of the census of 2000, there were 137 people, 55 households, and 37 families residing in the town. The population density was 354.6 inhabitants per square mile (136.9/km2). There were 73 housing units at an average density of 188.9 per square mile (72.9/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 81.75% White, 3.65% African American, 11.68% Native American, and 2.92% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.73% of the population. There were 55 households, out of which 36.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.1% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.7% were non-families.
