The population was 2,678 at the 2010 census. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.8 km2), all land. == Demographics == As of the census of 2000, there were 2,761 people, 1,120 households, and 807 families living in the CDP. The population density was 1,217.2 people per square mile (469.6/km2). There were 1,219 housing units at an average density of 537.4/sq mi (207.3/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.19% White, 0.91% African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.11% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.18% from other races, and 0.51% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.62% of the population. There were 1,120 households, out of which 31.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.1% were married couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
